Minecraft players feel frustrated after cutting wild feature

Maine Craft It was going to add fireflies in its update called “The Wild” whenever that update was ready for release, but this feature is no longer planned. Mojang confirmed in a video near the end of April that the feature was scrapped, but since it wasn’t as highlighted as it seemed, another video shared this week addressed the situation more directly. Gamers are still not satisfied with the decision even after providing a more detailed explanation, however, and many in the community say the feature should simply be added anyway.

Mojang said fireflies were meant to be a food source for the frogs, and frogs are another part of The Wild. In the Watch the video hereAccording to Mojang, they discovered based on feedback from the community that some fireflies were harmful to frogs once they were eaten. Decide that the frogs eat the slime instead, while the frogs eat Maine Craft The light sources were supposed to produce after eating enough fireflies too, so no fireflies meant another cutting advantage. As such, it was then argued that the frogs would instead produce static light by eating enough magma cubes that appear to be in Maine Craft The universe is less harmful to frogs than fireflies.

The most recent video from Mojang showed producer Anna Lundgren who directly addressed the deficiency of fireflies.

“Fireflies were originally part of the Wild Update plan. We wanted them to be a source of food for the new frogs, but then we got great feedback from you guys in our lovely community who taught us that many types of fireflies and fireflies outside are poisonous to frogs and toads. We’d like to add that to our game. So we’ve given the frogs a safer food source – the little slime! Unfortunately, the Fireflies are no longer part of the Wild update plans. We still think Fireflies are very interesting as an idea and concept, and are part of our library of ideas. But we don’t have Any concrete plans to add it in any upcoming update.”

While the video tackled a number of firefly incompatible themes despite being a title to focus on this slashing feature, the most shared comments on the video all show players scratching their heads wondering why fireflies couldn’t be added anyway.

“It doesn’t have to be edible to frogs for us to enjoy the visual improvements that fireflies will add to the game in general,” reads the top current comment about the situation.

Another said, “Fireflies should only be added for the sake of ambiance if nothing else.”

These sentiments persisted as players asked some decent questions: Why couldn’t fireflies simply be added to be there without any interaction between them and the frogs at all? More deceptive comments pointed out how there are other dangerous things in Maine Craft Besides the fireflies and that “every item must pass the sunflower test” to stay in the game.

At the moment, however, Mojang is not adding fireflies in The Wild and it appears he has no specific plans to do so in a future update, but perhaps community sentiment will influence that decision.
